Dear Community,
I recently encountered an issue with loading a Figma prototype where only one team member experienced difficulties while others accessed it without any problems. When attempting to load the prototype, this team member encountered a failure, but interestingly, the link worked fine in their browser’s incognito mode.
The Figma prototype link is configured with the “Anyone with the link can view” setting, and since all other viewers did not face this issue, I suspect there may be a specific reason behind this anomaly.
The device and browser details for the team member facing the issue are as follows:
- Operating System: Windows 11
- Browser: Google Chrome (Version 124.0.6367.61)
Could anyone provide insights or assistance on what might be causing this issue specifically for this team member?
Thank you,
Ajaya Bajracharya.
Did he try Incognito mode? Many times the browser extensions cause such issues. Else, can you share the screenshot of Browser’s Dev Console?
Access console using either of below:
- Press F12
- Press Ctrl+Shift+I
- Open the Chrome menu, then More Tools, then Developer Tools
- Right-click on a web page, then Inspect Element
- Click the three dots in the top right corner, then More Tools, then Developer Tools
Grab the screenshot of Console after loading the URL, when it fails
Yes i have requested, and here below is the image.
Credit to my developer friend for identifying and resolving the issue on his end. Here’s the solution he used:
Navigate to Settings > Privacy and Security > Third Party Cookies > See all site data and permissions, then clear the cookies related to Figma> Restart Browser.
This method effectively tackled the problem, showcasing his problem-solving skills.
