Hi, currenlty when trying to export Figma artboards I get this error:
Screenshot at Nov 02 10-55-48

How do I fix this?

Roeloff_van_Zyl

Also on occasion I receive this when clicking on export:

Same problem and same notifications, but it not happens to all the files in my account, did you fix it?

Hi Claudia, No the problem still persists. I played around. In my Figma file, I have 5 pages in my left panel and the export button is not working on 3 of them… very strange. However if I use the keyboard shortcut ( Shift + Command + E) on any frame in any of the 3 problematic pages, then the frame exports. So im using that workaround in the meantime… But not sure what the root cause of this is.

Hi Roeloff_van_Zyl,

The shortcut you provided works perfectly for me as well. Thank you so much for the meanwhile solution- I really appreciate it!

Hi all,
Thank you for flagging this! This looks definitely buggy. Please reach out to the support team so we can investigate what’s causing this here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Please use your Figma account email, include a quick screenshot or video recording of the issue on your end, a link to the file, and share it with support-share@figma.com so they can take a closer look. Thank you!

@Roeloff_van_Zyl : in your screenshot there is an emoji in your source, can you try exporting without an emoji in the string and see if that works? If this doesn’t help, feel free to reach out to the support team for further investigation.

Hi @Celine_Figma @Claudia19,

I figured it out… It’s the “//” in my Page’s naming convention that prevented me from exporting by means of the Export button. If I change it to “:” (as an example) I’m able to export my frames by using the Export button.

That being said, my fellow team members are still able to export frames even if the “//” is in the naming convention of the page.
