All my Plugins disappeared

I had several awesome plugins, and they disappeared from the desktop app and the web version. I waited a few days and checked back to see if it was fixed, but they were still gone. I don’t know the names of all of them to reinstall them, so I don’t know what to do. Please help!

Heyy @Abby1 i have same problem about that. If you update the Figma or auto update and you have project in directory Figma your project is lost. My solution using EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard, but you cant restore all or your data is not complete

So what’s the solution to this when there is no new update available? My Figma is currently up to date & my plugins disappeared.

My plugins have dissapeared also :frowning:

Hi there! Sorry to hear you are having issues with your plugins.
Can you please try the following steps and if the plugins disappear, can you send a recording showing the exact steps and results by filling a form to the support team here? https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

  1. Open a Figma design file in the browser
  2. Click the below Resources symbol in the toolbar:
  3. Click on a plugin to view its details.
  4. Click “…” > Save to save this plugin
  5. This plugin should then show under your saved plugins
  6. Then clear your cache
  7. Log back into Figma
  8. Is the plugin no longer showing?

If this no longer shows can you please send a recording showing this exact flow to our support here. Thank you!

I faced the same issue. Obviously stupid of me not to have backups, but I couldn’t have ever imagined that any software would destroy user generated files on update. I hope for the future plugin developers, that you will change this Figma… It wouldn’t matter if the plugin get broken and left behind at old version folder, but please don’t permanently destroy user plugin projects…
