Add pinch to zoom in and out interactions in prototypes

Yes this would really level up my ability to showcase the app Im currently working on to clients. Lets go!

Any news on that topic ?

This features does exist

Use these settings:

@Ruby6, those settings are for a static zoom level. People want to manually adjust the zoom level back and forth, especially with pinch actions.

I’m finding it would be very useful for zooming when making sitemaps. I’m using prototype mode to allow expand/collapse interactions, but it’s tedious not being able to zoom in and out freely for a large sitemap.

@Damon_Tolhurst , thanks for drawing. :framed_picture:

Yup, I need this too. I’m making large scale diagrams (similar to sitemaps as someone said below), and as a whole it’s large and complicated but each little area or section is very tight and has the dimensions of a 16:9 slide.

So, it would be very helpful to allow Prototypes to “pinch” or “click in” to zoom into an area within itself. Similarly, to then expand out, zoom out, etc.

I was just trying to layout an update to the client in a similar paradigm and was reminded it doesn’t work. See images below:

Definitely need this! With AI specifically there is a huge need for interactive canvas based designs. Without this ability it’s super hard to get a functional prototype together to test with users. Makes it super expoensive on the dev side, because we’ll have to prototype in software instead.
