Linking modes to breakpoints and being able to adjust on the fly is a real game changer. The thing that I’m missing tho, after typography support was recently added, is the ability to also use variables on the alignment settings of typography. Is this something that is being considered?

Implement an option for text alignment with the last line centered, left-aligned, and right-aligned. This basic feature available in Photoshop would enhance text alignment precision.

Hey @Amale_WebDesign, thanks for the feedback!

We’ll pass this onto our Typography team for future consideration.

Stumbled across this thread after missing this exact feature – yes, alignment is really needed to “complete” this feature.

At least everything I can configure should be connectable to Figma variables.

Oh Man! I’ve been searching for the same property in text variables. If we get this then it would be so much easier for supporting languages like Arabic & Hebrew which start from right to left. That one-click text change for these languages will be so much easier but in the mean time I built my own intricate components by nesting them under fewer atoms and molecules.

Dear Figma, we need this!

We also need this, implementing a multi-brand, multi-theme design system for all the companies of our group.
