currently one can decide to publish libraries either…



  • in the org

  • in the same team


It would be great, if one could publish libraries in any team.


Why?

In our design system, we have set up a “team” as testing environment, where we would like to test bigger changes, which could potentially break existing layouts.


But we are unable to publish changes from our component library to the test environment as long as we are limited to publish in the same team or org. It would be great to be flexible and choose any team for publishing.

It would still be nice to have this feature…


But maybe I was thinking too hard 😃 testing changes in components is actually also possible, just by copying a component from a product team (which is still based on the library version, which was released last) and pasting it into the component library, where the new changes have already been applied. If nothing breaks after pasting/updating, everything should be fine 🙂
