Preview underlying value of variables when creating an alias

Ricardo_Antonio_Cabral_Mejia

When creating an alias variable (variable that points to an existing variable) it would be very useful to preview the existing variable’s values when making the selection.

This would make it easier to select the correct variable without having to either recall each value or having to go back and forth between the alias and the referenced variable to validate.

Hi @Ricardo_Antonio_Cabral_Mejia, Thank you for sharing your thoughts on creating an alias for a variable.

I completely understand how having the ability to preview the variable in the Libraries tab would be helpful, especially might be handy for number and string variables. We’re excited to see how the community responds to your idea.

If you’re enthusiastic about seeing this idea come to life, please show your support by voting!

Thanks again for your contribution,

Yes! Shares the same thought here, Number variables should show value next to name
