LAUNCHED - Reset name of multiple text objects by submitting blank field in dialog

(Our client doesn’t allow the use of plugins for security reasons. I know there are plugins for this.)

When I want to reset the name of ONE text layer, I can just delete the name and hit enter. This is great. BUT why can’t we do this with multiple layers? We can rename multiple layers by selecting them and hitting ⌘+R, but entering a blank field does not reset the name like it would for a single layer.

Idea: I think it should do that. Just let me delete the name and submit the dialog, to reset the names 😃

By the way you now can’t even do this to a single layer.

Hello everyone!
Yes @1taldir3 ! I confirm that if you refresh any open tabs you should find that you can now restore your text names to auto-update as previously.
Thanks everyone for your patience!
