Describe the problem your experiencing and how your idea helps solve this
When I am tagged in a lot of comments in Figma in a short amount of time or throughout the day, the amount of email notifications I get is overwhelming, but I don’t want to turn them off because I forget to check the specific files for comments if I don’t get an email.
It would be great to have an option to get a rollup of all your notifications in one email for the day so that I can check for it at the beginning of the day and take action on that feedback all at once.
Add as much context as possible (screenshots, Figma files, mockups, etc.)

Hi!
From Emailmeter, I could see that Figma comments notifications were 30% of my incoming emails and it’s disturbing me 26 times a day.
Is there any way to group all notifications in only one email per day ?
Thanks,
Sarah.
Yes! It is very unmanageable to get an email every time someone makes a comment. These notifications are important to me, as I can sometimes go days without someone making comments on a file (therefore I don’t bother checking the Figma files themselves), but when they do comment, it is often easiest to be notified via e-mail.
Would love to see a digest of all file notifications once a day at a time I could configure.
Hi there!
I fully agree with you, grouping comments within a configurable timespan (e.g. one notification email for all comments published in half day or a day) should be super efficient.
But let guess it will come soon!

Agreed, this would really help declutter my email inbox on busy projects!
Feature Request:
When sending comment notification emails, make the new comments a thread from the original email, so you can read the all the comments together, without having to search through your emails for all the comments.
My inbox is constantly overwhelmed by individual notification emails every time someone leaves a comment or tags me in a comment on a file I’m in. I am drowning in comments and need a way to batch them so I know there they’re, but am not constantly distracted and overwhelmed by them.
The only comment-related notification is a toggle for email notifications. Ordinarily I LOVE simplicity, and hate huge lists of notification settings/options. But in this case, the simplicity is problematic, in that I can’t control how often I’d like to get notified that someone has left comments that I need to be aware of and/or respond to across multiple files.
My best-case scenario for my particular situation, which is that I work agency-side, and so am in multiple Figma instances for multiple client projects, is that I can control how often I am notified about comments (at the very least, every time someone comments or some sort of daily digest, on a per file basis.
I imagine the email looking something like this:
SUBJECT: You’ve got comments on mFILE NAME]!
BODY: A running list of all the comments, which each comment clickable so I can go straight to it.
Or even simpler (maybe? haven’t thought through either of these options from a detailed design and implementation standpoint) would be an email w/ the same subject, but the body is simply a CTA link that opens the Figma file, with the comments pane open and filtered to all either all the unread comments or all the comments that have been left since the last digest email.
- In the meantime, does anyone have good solutions for managing comments? (Besides ignore them or asking my clients and teammates to leave fewer of them…neither of which is an option for me. 😜)
There is a massive amount of e-mails piling up in my inbox thanks to Figma. It would be great to have the option in my settings to condense emails to one thread. Instead of having each comment send as a separate e-mail. InVision does this and it makes for a much cleaner inbox.
Is anyone using a plugin or workaround to help solve this?, etc.

I would love to have more flexibility in allowing notifications for comments. I want to be notified, but also getting 25 emails in minutes for EVERY comment was extremely annoying while I was trying to present and my screen kept blowing up with emails.

Would be very much appreciated!
Very useful feature we just realized we would love to have. Daily, or custom timeframe, all comments packed as one email message to reduce interruptions to workflow.
Great idea!
And I have a related question about comment notification settings. Maybe your experience with Figma makes it easy for you to answer it.
Thanks a lot in advance!
