Suggest a Feature

Ran into a weird issue today and finally figured out what was happening. Basically, I was tweaking a component in an area of the canvas where I had another section set to invisible. Without realizing it, I was expanding the component right on top of that hidden section. So every time I manually resized the button, it would just disappear and I had no idea why. Turns out, I was literally designing inside a hidden layer. I only figured it out after scrolling way down in the layers panel and finding the invisible section.Figma any chance you could add a quick alert or safeguard that tells users when they’re editing inside a hidden layer? Would save a lot of confusion. Thanks!

Branch owner has the ability to remove the “In-Review” status to allow for more accurate status tracking over time as a work on a branch might need additional work after its been marked “Suggest Changes” during review. This would help to clearly state the most recent status to those that review and approve branches.

Sometimes I want to scale a section up or down and I want the items within the section to scale up or down with the section. Is there a way to do this?

Add a feature where I can import my Figma make file with all the prototyping done inside Figma make to a Figma design file for full control over the elements

It would be really nice if you could group de pages into folders. When you have a huge project, sometimes you have too many versions in diferent pages that you don’t want to delete just in case you need it later. It’s dificult to see 20 pages at the same time when you are only working with two of them.Tank you :)

How often do people translate to maaany languages? I personally use 2, max 3, but have to search each time to translate to english. Would like to have my often used languages on top in order to avoid searching. Otherwise feature is awesome, using it in figma and figjam. Tank you.

We use different colored sticky notes for different things when user journey mapping. When trying to export sticky note content to organize it, there's no way to organize the notes properly. Please add a "color" column to the sticky note export in FigJam

The hover area for the “click-and-drag to resize” functionality is only 1px wide, unlike all of the other inputs on the same panel that have a representative icon, and subsequently larger hover area. Can we add an icon or otherwise make the font size hover area consistent with its siblings?

Hi!  I would like to have a Contact Form widget on Sites.  Thank you!

Hello,We’re currently migrating our studio portfolio to Figma Slides. Our main concern is ensuring clients (who will discover the portfolio for the first time) can navigate through the slides easily and intuitively.❌ The problemWe’ve noticed that new users often struggle with Figma Slides’ default navigation, especially when trying to go back to the previous slide:They must use keyboard arrow keys, which many people aren’t used to anymore (since most sites and tools are fully operable by mouse)Or they have to hover on specific screen edges to make small navigation arrows appear👉 Overall, the default navigation is not intuitive, and this creates friction that undermines the purpose of a clean, user-friendly presentation.✅ Suggested improvementsWe believe the following features would significantly enhance the experience. Each is useful on its own, but ideally, they could work together for maximum flexibility:🖱️ Better navigation toolsAbility to add navigation buttons directly from the to

It would be great to have a way to select multiple elements of the same type (vectors for example) or to be able to filter by type when you select several different types of elements.

When working with slides in Figma, I often accidentally move the background when trying to move other elements, which is really frustrating. Could you add a pin or lock option for elements/backgrounds on slides? Thank you!

Figma make should have an option to select figma design files and component library to connect to reduce generation time.

I would love a back/forward button similar to Safari or Chrome where I can navigate through folders and files on the home page.

It should be possible for a member of the External team in a Connected Project to move a file into their own Figma instance, at the discretion of Admins in the Host organization. Currently members of the external team are not allowed to move a file out to their own space, ostensibly for security reasons. But external teams may have a legitimate need to move the files for organizing or archiving purposes. The activation feature could be disabled by default, but the decision about whether file moves are allowed should be in control of the Host organization and not simply hard-coded.

It would be great to have a plugin toolbar where we can store our commonly used or favourite plugins for easy access. Having to go to the Actions menu every time and search for the plugins (especially if you use a lot like me), can be a cumbersome waste of valuable time.

Please figma team add the appropriated search function to your MCP server soo it can work with Open AI’s solutions. I’m trying to build a design agent with GPT without having to create an MCP from scratch...

I guess this is a much needed feature. Now, I export multiple fames into PDFs and go to any PDF editing website and combine all the pages to a Single PDF. Incase If I have any edits, I need to again come and edit in Figma and have to do these steps again which is very hectic. Please implement this feature. I guess in the export section, an option to export to a single PDF will solve the problem. Much needed one. Guys vote for this!!!

Can you revert changes to the message that appears in the top right corner of Figma files telling me that X person(s) is / are request access to the file. Previously it had their email below their name. This was so useful to help identify who ‘Ben’ is. Now all I know is there persons name and I no longer know which company they are from. It was really useful seeing the email address. It’s ok only knowing the name of the person if you are small team but in large organisations that work with external parties / third part vendors, you have no idea who these people are and the email address is the best way to id them and know if I should give them access.

In the left-side panel, the pages and layers panels are separated by a single-pixel-thick line. This line is draggable so as to resize the vertical height of the panels. This is incredibly small, and there is almost no affordance to understand this is draggable. To compound the confusion, the flat design offers no indication that these panels may contain more pages/layers (e.g. a fade out of the pages’ names at the bottom of the panel). Finally, why does collapsing the layers panel not reduce its height, like the collapsible panels of Adobe’s apps? it seems like there is no purpose to this collapse, since it does not reveal the full list of pages. This problem is quite annoying when we share our work with stakeholders and collaborators (e.g. copywriters and project managers) that are not familiar with the idiosyncrasies of Figma, and are wondering where all the pages go.Please find a solution to clarify that these panels contain potentially more than they reveal, and that this thin line i

The new preview window in Figma client is great! It would be nice if this could be moved freely outside the window size of the Figma client. This way it would not obstruct the Figma UI and can be moved to a secondary display.

I do accidentally move around comments by mistake. And whenever I cmd-z I accidentally undo the designs rather than comment move.

Hi, in both of my organizations, I use Figma for designs, and my devs are used to it, know how to navigate and adopted it very well. But when I get files from other colleagues outside of my organization, I usually get .ai or .psd files and I can’t open them. I would like Figma (not community that is extra pay and mostly does not even do the job) being able to let me work with these files. The question is, can Figma team work on that?It would be soooo much more helpful than things like Figma Make, because this thing makes me leave Figma and use Adobe instead.
