1. Am I blind or there is no slider to move between slides? And you need to scroll through a lot of slides? Any other idea how to do this?
2. I have table of contents on first slide. Is there any way to make it linked to the rest? Like Chapter 1 Blablabla - I clik there and it move me to the fight slide?

Hey @Lucja, thanks for reaching out and sorry for the delayed reply!
To answer your first question, do you mean in Design mode or Present mode?
In Design mode, there is no slider, but you can use your arrow keys to move between slides.
In Present mode, you can also use your arrow keys or when hovering toward the bottom of your slides, controls will appear to navigate between slides.
As for your second question, yes - you can link your table of contents to the associated slide(s).
Just click on the text that you wish to link, then from the right, Design tab > go to the Link section where you will see a drop down menu that will allow you to choose the slide number you wish to link.
In Design mode, would be awesome to have some sort of slider…
Assume, you have around 100 slides and while navigating through them (let say from 4th to 70th slide to check something and back to 4th, imagine repeating it a couple of times), your middle finger will turn into a scrolling superhero in no time:)
In Present mode, also would be nice to have something like a box or a editable page number to jump to the desired slide…
We’ll pass this idea onto our Slides team for future consideration. Don’t forget to vote up top! 🗳️

Hi @dvaliao
I was just searching for ‘link to slides’ and came across this thread.
My version (125.2.3) does not have a ‘link’ section, only a ‘Text’ section with the link icon, when I select this I’m given a ‘Type or paste URL’ on the text field.
Hi everyone!
I have 2 questions about Figma Sildes.
It seems there isn't a built-in slider in Figma for navigating slides, but you can use arrow keys or create custom buttons for faster navigation. For linking your table of contents, you can use Figma's Prototype feature to add interactions to the text, so clicking on a chapter will take you directly to the corresponding slide.
I found it, I had the pen icon selected on the bottom tool bar (above) but when it’s deselected there is a ‘Link’ panel as shown by @dvaliao
@dvaliao why is it tied to text properties...I expect to be able to link anything. Not being able to have a back arrow button to the contents slide seems so insanely backwards compared to how ahead Figma Design is compared to other designers. In addition to the limited animation controls.
Can links be a layer property or so instead?
Hi @mugtaba.g, thanks for the additional feedback!
Right now, the capability to link any type of object just hasn’t been built yet. We’ll pass this feedback onto our Slides team for future consideration.
Thanks @dvaliao
One other thing with regards to exports from Figma slides: are the links meant to get embedded as bookmarks in PDFs or slide links in PPTX (PowerPoint)? I tried exporting the slides but:
in PDFs, *slide links remain as Figma URLs instead of bookmarks, so a Table of Contents item links to the Figma web file instead of jumping to the slide
in PPTX, seems like slide links are stripped away just leaving underlined plaintext
Thanks for following up, @mugtaba.g!
I’ll flag this to our Figma Slides team to advise.
