There is something cathartic perhaps about crumpling up paper containing your notes and ideas, and throwing them into a bin. Perhaps you were writing down everything on your mind that moment, and then crumple up the pages to create the clear slate. Perhaps it is taking all those ideas that won’t work, and throwing them out to clear more space, on the page or in your head.

Imagine a feature where a user might crumple up one of their boards or frames, and just thrown it out to clear space or wipe the slate clean. Perhaps a delightful paper crumple animation plays. Maybe you see the board fly through the air into some bin to make a satisfying whoosh – mini-games aside.

Simple put, it could be a way to clear your ideas (good or bad) out of our workspace (visually and mentally). Not gone forever. Perhaps still in the bin if you want to take them out and “unfold” them.

To me, that sounds like something would be fun and useful to do as a designer, or anyone for that matter.

Hey @Sheikholeslami_Dana, thanks for this fun idea!

I’ll pass this onto our FigJam team for future consideration.
