I think it would be amazing if we could export frames/images right from the Figma mobile app. There could be an export feature similar to desktop version and user could simply choose where they want to save the exported file to.

Why hasn’t this featured been implemented yet?? Seems like such an obvious need

Seems like an obvious feature for me to.

It’s already the second time I prepared an Instagram post on Figma for posting later from my phone, only to find out I cannot export from my phone and should have exported sooner.

This is very strange. Surely in 2025 everything should be mobile first? Why would a company like Figma not have a functioning mobile app? The last thing I want to do is take my laptop to the beach

An export feature in the Figma mobile app would be a great addition, allowing users to save frames/images directly to their devices, just like on the desktop version. This would streamline workflows, especially for designers who need quick access to assets on the go.

At Zenesys, we understand the importance of seamless design-to-development transitions. Whether integrating Figma APIs for custom workflows or building mobile apps with intuitive export features, we focus on solutions that enhance productivity and user experience. Hopefully, Figma considers adding this functionality soon!

Having an export feature in the mobile app would be great. I’m on the go and a client has asked for a higher res version of a frame in a design.

You can use Figma in Chrome browser (figma.com) on your phone and export your frame from there. But you need to open it in Desktop site mode to be able to see the export panel.
