The blue interaction box is helpful for prompting which elements can be clicked in a prototype. All components with interactive states, even just hovers, now have blue interaction boxes - even when they don’t really do anything useful like navigating or launching a modal.

I’d like some level of control over which variant interactions are visually prompted, or some smart defaults (which Figma is awesome at, thanks team!)

Indeed. I just added hover/active states to all our buttons in our huge prototype that we do user tests with. Users really like the extra interactivity that the interactive components bring, but having all buttons (even the ones that don’t do anything yet) show up as blue interaction boxes creates a lot of confusion.

It’s annoying, someone can help us to fix this problem ?

i don’t want see all my hover bouton in blue in prototype mode (when you click anywhere on the prototype to see where are the interactions to move on other pages)

I use figma app on mac M1

Turn off hotspot hints in the Presentation mode options.

Figma Help Center

I prefer to see only the click element (and not the hoverable element) for my team.

it useful for them to find features use in this prototype. (Not a user test)

We would love hover interactions to not flash blue in prototype mode!
