Allow us to expose Annotations and Measurements to View Seat users.

Viewing Annotations should NOT be a paid feature. They provide important context on designs such as tooltip content, interactivity, etc. It’s a great feature that is far more efficient than adding on-page notes.

Figma, pls do this…being able to see annotations and measurements shouldn’t be a paid feature…

Pls enable users with view access to see annotations, otherwise it’s really pointless to have this feature.

The Value: > The Figma annotations feature is fantastic for my daily workflow. The ability to anchor notes directly to specific components (or nested items) provides incredible clarity for my team.

However since it’s left behind for a year without any response from the team I suppose Figma would not go for user friendliness, but keep to monetize each feature as much as they could.

The stereotypes does not come from thin air. The true american “business” experience we have here!

All of our annotations have to be visible to managing stakeholders, who review with a view seat as they are above the day-to-day contributor teams and not doing any hands-on work. 

This means we cannot use annotations and continue to annotate manually, just so everybody has visibility. There is no use to this feature if you gate keep it to the upper tier plans. We will not purchase unnecessary dev seats for our managers, just so they can read annotations - but everybody on our team is extremely frustrated with Figma over this issue

Adding my voice to the chorus frustrated that we have to pay for a seat to have someone view annotations. I just discovered this when my QA team member couldn’t see the annotations. Please make them visible to all. We are temporarily abandoning this feature for a “sticky” note in the meantime.
