Allow us to expose Annotations and Measurements to View Seat users.

Hi,

The addition of annotations and measurements to Design mode is such a great decision.

However this is rendered almost useless if the annotations and measurements can’t be made visible to View Seat users.

Often annotations are used for communication with a range of stakeholders, not just designers and developers. It’s not viable to upgrade every stakeholder to a Full or Dev seat to engage with this content.

    Please make this a reality!

    It’s quite frustrating to do duplicative work by adding a comment, that has the same content as an annotation, just so members with a View Only Seat can have a bit more context into design choices. Also, when sharing for feedback with stakeholders or teammates that have a View Only seat, comments can easily be ignored because you need to click on them in order to see what’s being said, which isn’t the case with annotations.

      Figma could easily make annotations available on View Seats (or collaborators if they want to squeeze a few more dollars) and still leave measurements in Full seat and Dev mode only. That would make total sense to me, but unfortunately FIgma for the last few years has become the new Adobe.
