Allow creation of new variables when the eye icon is right clicked, even when when there is none created yet

Mari_Hirano

I recently found out that when you have no boolean variables created, right clicking the ‘eye’ icon on the layer panel won’t show anything. The only way the right click works on this is if you already had any boolean variables created in the ‘local variables’ section. Only then, you see the option to create a new variable directly from here.

This behavior was pretty confusing to me, and I thought something was broken.

Hello @Mari_Hirano, Thank you for sharing this idea. I wasn’t aware that we could create boolean variables from here! I appreciate you informing us about it 😊

I can see the convenience of being able to create a boolean variable without needing a local one. I believe this would be beneficial for other community members as well. We’re excited to see how the community responds to this!

If any members of our community would like to see this feature implemented, please show your support by voting or commenting on it.

Thanks again for your input!

You saved me, thank you!

I was searching everywhere to figure out why right clicking the eye wasn’t opening up the menu for me. I wanted to confirm it actually worked before making my variables.

Made a boolean and the menu shows up now, brilliant.
