I tried to make some geometric shapes, and I spent a bunch of time aligning all of the lines before I found out about flattening lines.
When using the line tool, it’s edit points are not in the center And to do this, you have to flatten it by Ctrl + E:
I think making the edit points centred by default would be better for the workflow!

I was able to achieve this without flattening the line but I had to edit the line. I understand this isn’t optimal solution and “making the edit points centred by default” would be beneficial.
I’ve shared this internally with the team for consideration!
Guys, don’t bother flattening the lines and do all sorts of gimmicks. Just use the pen tool instead of line tool. Problem solved, as it creates the line with the correct vector/mathematical center. Peace out!
