I know there are many other threads talking about this issue, but I want to highlight a particular case. I’m working on a single project with a free plan. We are just two users: I’m a designer, the other user is developer. He only needs to inspect my design properly without editing, and has been using Dev Mode until now. The ONLY thing we need is keeping the Dev Mode for him. When I click on “upgrade”, we both appear as “clickable” for upgrading to two seats, but when I deselect me, it converts me directly in a “view-only” user. So if we want to remain the same but with Dev Mode for the developer, we have to pay for two seats! How the hell don’t you offer a plan for just allowing developers to inspect the design properly, without converting him in a editor and without downgrading me to only-view? Figma, did you really study this new move you made? Because I think it won’t have the consequences you want.
I wanted to offer feedback around some of the reasons our company decided to remove the Figma app from Jira. There are a few things missing or mis-matching between our use of Figma and Jira. Figma is mostly used for software UI design but our DevOps team also use Jam for flowcharts sometimes, Marketing use it for some web and email design work. Jira is also used by several teams in the company, all of the above mentioned ones + several more. This causes some issues with how the “Jira app” is structured. You can setup the app to link to 1 and just 1 team in Figma. But this links to all of Jira. Not to any one team or project in Jira. We would want 2 Figma teams linked to 3-4 Jira projects. The app is not useful in any other Jira project but we were still not able to figure out how to disable the UI added onto all Jira cards. (E.g. “Add a Design” button) In contrast, apps like the one for Slack, Checklist pro, or MS Teams are apps you configure per Jira project. I can also link a speci
Hello, two days ago, I had an issue with payment. Maybe somebody has experience with the same problem. The problem One month ago I subscribed to one payment plan of 25$ to use Figma with all things I need. And two days ago I received a message, that you should pay 172 euros at the beginning of next month. And I was shocked. I start checking what happened. And see that I have 9 editors on old projects and one month ago, I already paid 172 euros for 9 users, and next 5 days I should do the same. But real situation is that all this month only I used Figma in my projects. Figma support did great work and returned my money for the previous month. I am thankfull for it. I like Figma, and I don’t want somebody to have the same problem as me. And I would like to give clear feedback about this situation. Which maybe could help Figma company increase User Experience about payment. The reason why it happens: Because “Team folder” has a folder view for grouping projects in the folders. It is reall
