I notice in new UI3 there are extra space was stolen what make negative space works less effectively. This mean it is difficult to scan any icons, fonts, items, categories on the panels.
Problem - extra paddings makes lower scannability and overloads space.
Solution - get rid of extra paddings - UI2 has no problem such like that. Use hover to display padding and make no margin between objects.
