centering multiple elements inside each frame separately i think it’s saving time but i didn’t find such behavior on Figma for instance i have a main container inside desktop frame and i changed the size of it and i want to center that new width to the middle of the frame i have to go one by one if i select all they will collapse inside each other the only solution i know is auto layout but it’s not applicable if working on a new design
Describe the problem your experiencing and how your idea helps solve this On both chromebooks and traditional computers PWAs are hugely useful for reducing browser chrome to maximize the app experience. Additionally they can provide significant performance benefits, even enabling limited use of the app while the user is not connected to the internet. It would be great to see official PWA support added to the app. Additionally the PWA could likely replace the need for the Android app (use TWA instead) and iOS app.
I come from a software called Simple mind. In this app there is a type of “shape with text” that grows in the Y axis to fit the text you add, while keeping the X axis fixed. After you finished adding your text you can resize the width of the “shape with text” and it will auto resize the height to fit the content I found it super handy on simple mind and now I found annoying to resize every shape after adding my text. It could be a switch feature in the current “shape with text”… think about it
One option that could be useful is to allow modifying the decoration of a text that has already been defined as a text style, because that way you do not have to create two or more text styles to simply add the decoration. As with alignment, it could be added below. thanks
Imagine want to move your Figma design file across team projects but unable to find the match of the file. The reason is that you need to type the team project name perfectly to find it. That’s what I found with Figma “move file” button. Can you at least fix your SQL query and change it from and add LIKE = “%SEARCH%” so I can search in between the text.

My Figma automatically updated to the latest version, but it now says that it is incompatible with my Mac OS version and cannot run. Is there a location I can find the download link for an older version of the desktop app for Mac?

I create a dropdownlistbox with textproperties, so i could easly change the values. But i want to use the equal sign (=) between text, example: level 1 = pupil level 2 = aspirant level 3 = junior when i press the “=” in a textproperty it shown directly the “variable panel” how can i escape this?
Can you please fix scrolling? One tick of the scrollwheel should always scroll the same distance. It currently doesn’t. Sometimes it goes way farther, causing me to overcompensate and look like a noob.
In some of my Figma files that are linked to our design system, while writing in Arabic using font tokens, after a while, the text disappears, and the only solution that solves this is to double-click on each and every text to make it appear again! In a large file that is all in Arabic, it looks like the attached screen, and this solution is time-consuming, especially since it happens again the next day. Attached are Arabic vs. English screens.
Has anyone had the problem lately of making design changes, but they aren’t updating in the prototype view? This doesn’t happen all the time, but when it does I need to refresh the prototype tab for the changes to appear. For example I just added a banner to one of my frames and the banner didn’t show up in my prototype until I refreshed the tab. I’ve also noticed it with smaller changes such as adding borders to elements, and the borders don’t appear. If this is a bug it could be affecting viewers of my prototypes too, who won’t always be seeing the latest version and won’t know it. Or there will be missing elements and the prototype will look broken to them. I use the desktop app so haven’t confirmed if this is a problem in the browser as well.
I am looking at my heavily-styled design system and thinking through my text styles. I have the general “Body/Regular/XL/Light” type of structure. BUT…what I am finding is that I have "four weights for each; Roman, Italic, Underline, and Strikethrough. Today it dawned on me that I do not have “Underline Italic.” Who does that??? I could go further down the rabbit hole. And online resources are pretty weak as far as best practices. So I ask…what do YOU do?
Why did they remove the ability to select an effect, style or stroke, if theres only a single one??? If i want to copy it over to another frame or duplicate something, i first need to create an extra property, just to be able to copy the first one Muscle memory absolutely destroyed
So I’m already able to add Colors, Frames with a Grid, and an Image via my plugin to a new Figma file. But is there an easy way to add a Component with variants etc? These would be my need: Is it possible to build the component in Figma, extract the relevant JSON data, and seamlessly integrate it into my plugin? Or do I need to recreate the component entirely from scratch in code? via Shared Node Properties | Plugin API

Hi, I created a file yesterday and uploaded to Figma community and after a couple of hours it was deleted. How long does it take to review? Is there a possibility that after review it would be deleted?
I use fig jam for online tutoring and remote AP courses for homeschool students. I’m planning to transition to Fig Jam from Jam Board for next Academic Year and I’ve been testing it this semester. I’m concerned about access issues I’ve been having so please help me understand if I am doing something wrong or if there is something wrong with the application itself. Three times it has happened I share a fig jam with a student and they eventually can’t edit the board, even when I set the board to open session. Twice this occurred after 7 days so I assume the student didn’t set up an account. But they should still be able to access the board in an open sessions, correct? The third time was a student on his school email who had set up an account. Everything worked for about 2-3 weeks and then suddenly he could only see the boards I created in view only mode. What was strange is that he could create boards that I could edit. We successfully used the board he created for several weeks without

Specifically, I’d like to know if it’s possible to create two distinct animations for a button: Single click: When clicked once, the digital value changes by one step. Long press: Holding the button down triggers a continuous, automatic increase in the value until the button is released. If I have a Figma Professional License and another team member has a Figma Organization License, and we are working on the same project within the same organization, is there a way for us to collaborate on the files effectively?
Hi there, I have a problem with creating and applying a boolean property. I have a button that is created with nested components. I create a boolean property on the top level of a component to show an icon-only button variant. Still, when I want to apply it to the variants, it’s not visible there so I get an error that says the property is not used within a component. Does anybody have a similar problem? Screenshots attached.
