When sharing design files, I’ve come across a few instances this week where the view of a file does not match across Figma accounts on the same plan. Example screenshot attached.
I can’t find the layers they have in their view-- they don’t exist on my end. I’ve thoroughly checked that they aren’t hidden and I have all permissions for the file. The issue persists when frames are exported and I haven’t yet seen these issues “expire” (persist >20mins)
What’s going on? Is it a lag in the desktop app? How can we tell which view is the “truth?”
