I’m working on a feature for my plugin QoQo. this feature allows the plugin to send text in Hindi to Figma canvas.
The font is set to Inter which does not support Hindi, but I expect Figma to fall back to a font that support Hindi glyphs.

This has been problematic when using variables and modes to support multilingual prototypes. When the content of variants is using languages with different scripts there is no clear way to indicate the font to use for each mode. Fallback for Hindi being broken adds additional complications to the process.
