Figma Sites Bug: reloading loop on safari

Hello,

I'm writing to let you know that I just launched my online portfolio, and two people using Safari are experiencing issues accessing the site.

For them, the site loads poorly and keeps reloading in a loop. Everything works fine on my end, but both of them had the same issue—one on a computer and the other on a phone. Another person tried it on a tablet (also using Safari), and it worked without any problems.

Since this is my portfolio, I want to make sure that everyone can access it properly.

Hey ​@ClaraM15! Great to hear you’ve created your portfolio with Figma Sites. I just took a look, and I have to say, it looks really impressive, awesome work!

I tested this on my mobile device and my MacBook using Safari and wasn’t able to reproduce the issue, it loaded smoothly, as shown in my screen recording (MacBook).


I completely understand how concerning it can be to hear that some people are having trouble accessing your site. Thank you for sharing the screenshot, I’m reaching out to the team internally to see what might be causing this behaviour for certain Safari users. I’ll follow up as soon as I hear more.

In the meantime, if any of those users can share details about their Safari version or device, that might help us dig deeper.

Thank you so much for your feedback on my work, it means a lot to me!

 

Attached is the video of the bug that my friend recorded — she’s using Safari version 15.1, I’m not sure if that helps.

 

But it’s reassuring to know that everything displays correctly on your end.

Hey ​@ClaraM15, I got updates from the Team. They are not able to reproduce this behaviour on their Safari browser. Can you open your network tab and take a screen recording with the shortcut cmd + opt + i -> network. This will be helpful for the team to investigate further.
