Hi everyone! I accidentally deleted all my drafts and slides while deleting team projects (all of it happened because of ChatGPT that’s said my drafts will not be deleted while deleting team projects and they will always appear in my personal files). Though the worst of all is I can’t restore any of them, they simply don’t appear there, it’s empty, how I get back my projects?

Deleted files, even drafts, can be restored from the Trash folder.

If the files are not appearing there, you might have removed them from there as well, and that is irreversible.

Did you delete the team? If so, check your inbox — there will be a link to restore it. You have 28 days before Figma permanently deletes it.

Thanks for stepping in here, @giliard and @Nellya — appreciate you looking out. 🙏🏻

@mohhucra, sorry to hear this — I took a look on our end and can see that someone from our Product Support team is digging into it. They’ll follow up soon with more details, so keep an eye on the email tied to your account for updates. In the meantime, for anyone looking for more clarity on how project restoration works, this Figma Learn article is a great resource: Delete and restore projects.

Appreciate your patience and let us know if anything else comes up.

Thank you all for the support, I’ve checked my inbox and I succesfully restored my project team, thank you all!

Pumped to hear that, @mohhucra — nicely done, everyone! 🙌🏻
