When I try to click on a text style from my library nothing happens and the text style doesn’t change. It works weirdly when I choose the body text style, but not with the headings. Any advice?
@Manuel_Stocker Some ?s – is the font you’re using in the style a default one? Or is it one you’ve installed?
Also, it travels across all body text, correct? So if you try and use it in different files, the behavior is the same (I’m assuming it’s a library and not local style).
Not sure if reviewing this page will help (if you haven’t already), but would recommend taking a look: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039957034-Create-and-apply-text-styles
I have the same problem, and the style includes the font that I’ve installed manually. Does the problem have something to do with it? Is there a workaround?
Hey @Anna_Kletneva, sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your text style using an installed font!
Are you able to share your file with us? https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
If so, please use your Figma account email, include a link to the file, and share edit access with support-share@figma.com, so we can have our team take a closer look.
One reason why the text style can not be selected is if the text style font weight is not supported by the font.
I had that in a past when switching from one font to another and the second font didn’t have a “Regular” weight, but Figma was taking over that word 1:1. I couldn’t select the text style until I chose a supported weight.
