Hello, thank you for your response, the error came from me, I think, because I had invited someone to a free team and the person absolutely had to check their student status. We created a team and a project and there was no problem, so I think the problem comes from that and from me.

I was able to verify that I am a student and signed up for FIgma Education. When I did, it took me to a page that says: “You’re in! You are now verified with Figma for Education”. It took me to create a team and asked me to add members. Then it took me to where it says, “choose team plan”. I thought I was already in the education plan. Why is it asking me to upgade?

Thanks for reaching out. As explained in our help center article, once your Education status is approved, Figma will prompt you to select a team for upgrading to the Education plan. You can either create a new team or choose an existing one. Please note that Figma's Professional features will only be available on teams that have been upgraded or set up as Education teams.
