Variables not working on Instances

We have a component set with some variables. When using instances, we used to replaced the variables for new local variables. It worked fine, now it is not working properly. It tends to reuse the original one from the component.

I’m willing to share the file with Figma support. This is very serious issue as or design system heavily uses variables on components.
