Text function suddenly not working in Figma Design

I’d like to get more context to help troubleshoot. Is it happening on browser, desktop app or both? And does the issue occurs in a specific file or any files?

To cover some basics, I’d recommend you to close any Figma tabs you’re not using

• Browser: If this is happening on Browser, can you specify in which browser? Please try to force-quit and open Figma in a new browser window. (More information on the browser configuration)
• Desktop App: If this is only happening in the desktop app, we suggest that you clear the cache on the Desktop app. Here is our guide to do it: here, then force-quit the Figma Desktop app and restart it.
