Plugin API: additional documentation or examples for node.setReactionsAsync()?

I’m not a developer, but can generally hack together some javascript after enough google searches. For some reason I cannot get a plugin to create new prototype interactions. Are there other resources, examples, or documentation about this topic beyond the page linked below in the API docs?
