Open mobile app (WhatsApp) from Figma

Hi Community!

I have a prototype which has a button that sends the user to a WhatsApp conversation. Yesterday I was able to open that link with my Figma directly into to WhatsApp app. Now however, the link is opened in a browser. I did not change anything, so I don’t know how this happened. What can I do to force the Figma app to open my link in the app instead of in a browser?
Maybe this is a WhatsApp thing that changed, but it’s very weird…
