Please how can i easily locate Figma community using the Figma app. its so frustrating when i want to add new plugin, and i have to use the web version first

I was prompted to update Figma, and I did so. After I updated the program I went into the Figma file that I’ve been working in for the past month. As I’m in the file I don’t see any of my comments loaded. I went to “show version history” to see if I could retrieve any of the comments and the history panel isn’t showing any previous versions before I updated Figma at 10am. The file looks exactly the same but I can’t seem to load any comments from a previous version. Is there a way to retrieve older comments?

I’m designing a category selector for filtering. Had some success: when the top level buttons are clicked, the filter panel appears and label updates accordingly. The string and boolean variables are working. When the filter panel is cleared (variable applied to the clear button, “x”), the button should reset to it’s default state, but it doesn’t. I think I have the components set up correctly: a button component for the button itself, then a selector component with the variables applied to them. “Trees” should reset to it’s default state. I’ve tried applying conditionals but that didn’t work. Please help! I’ve lost a lot of time trying to solve this and at my wit’s end. As a new user, I can’t upload a video but here’s a link to the test file.

Hi, I’ve ran into an issue where i have a button with 3 states: idle, hover, active. If i link my component variants to use active state either on mouse down/up or on click it causes issues with triggering overlay. This feels very odd and took me ages to pin down why i couldn’t trigger my modals. Here is prototype in action.Figma – 6 Nov 24 Is this intended behaviour and i am badly missing something?

I created this forum with my organization’s email id but if I ever change the organization I am worried that I may lose my profile and community that I have built with this account. So wouldn’t it be better that forum can be separated from product and the email id can be changed without submitting any tickets? Or Is there a way to transfer ownership of a forum account to another email like we transfer file ownership?

I use personal email, but Figma required me to verify student for editing. Could you please help me?

Hi ! I would like to be able to detect wether a fill of type image contains transparency or not. I’m developping a code exporter and there are multiple reason why this information would be useful, for example : knowing wether its more relevant to export as PNG or JPG (without having to ask the user) knowing wether a shadow effect applied to that image should rather be handled in CSS (in the case of a jpg without transparency) or should be integrated in the export (in the case of a png with transparency) please let me know if there’s any way to know this, (even a work-around) Best regards.

I have an image node selected. My plugin gets the image data, sends it to an API of mine which returns new image data. I want to trigger the downloading of that data. I’m at a loss since I can only find this sentence in the docs: “This can be useful if you want to download the image or upload it somewhere else.” I can’t find anywhere that actually says how to trigger a download.

My issue is that, I created a variant component (Default and variant1) with text inside it I used its instances Then problem is that when I change the font size of variant1 and then then when I preview it wont work here is the file please check once https://www.figma.com/file/ZyuutY6Q0xlWAYbcT4RX1R/prob?node-id=0%3A1

When the app is installed and running in Zoom, the screen is loading blank with no option to log in to my account or find files.

Why does Figma try to charge the annual payment from the card after paying for the monthly plan? If I pay for an annual subscription, will the monthly subscription stop being debited? And why do the conditions for the number of editors constantly change? I initially chose five people and paid for them for a month. Now Figma is trying to write off the annual plan, so I changed the terms of the plan for two editors.

How do I remove or unlink a Figma account from Stripe? Because I have set up a Stripe account on the wrong account by accident. I know that the AI features are being rolled out in phases and not all at once, but a while I got the intro message and had them available, but now I’m not seeing them. One thing that did change recently is my company upgraded from a Professional license to an Organization. Could this be why I no longer see the AI tools available?

I have a shopping cart icon, that grows briefly, then shows a number alert with the number if items (this is a different state of the icon with variable number). If you click the plus button, that number increases, and if you click the minus, the number decreases. When it gets below zero, I want the shopping cart icon to revert to the default state (without the number). I have tried many different conditionals. Everything works, except that it never reverts back to the default state below zero.

Hi! I have made a carousel from Material Design 3 with 7 images which I need to add to my Android-design, where when you drag it will have a certain animation and move the way you drag it (see example): Material Design I have added it to my design, and when trying it out on my PC it works, though when testing it on my Phone the side scrolls down instead. It seems like the dragging is understood as scrolling. Though when adding a horizontal scroll to a carousel it works. Does this mean that if I want to have a carousel with horizontal scrolling on Phone, I can not use the drag-option in prototype? This means that I won’t be able to create it like the Material Design 3, as it won’t have the animation I want… Any comments are appreciated!

Hi have this project where I made my button animation using a component and variants and it works well on its own. I now have another component that I wish to make appear after the animation. But I want it to appear only when the button gets clicked not after a delay. Unfortunatly since I used the “on tap” option for the animation I can’t use it to link it to my popup component and when I use any other option I can see the pop up but the animation doesnt start. Is there any work around for this problem, Thank you!

I am reaching out for assistance with a problem I’m facing while trying to publish my component library. Currently, I’m encountering the error message “Unable to publish 1 change to the Team Library.” To troubleshoot the issue, I followed a systematic approach and discovered that the problem lies with a specific component, component A.1. Surprisingly, when I removed component A.1, I was able to publish component A without any issues. I carefully examined component A.1 for any potential problems, but couldn’t find anything amiss, and I managed to publish it successfully as an individual component. However, the problem persists once I reintroduce component A.1 back into component A. As a detail to note, all the required fonts are available within the components. I would be extremely grateful if anyone from the community could provide insights, solutions, or suggestions on how to overcome this obstacle and successfully publish the entire component library.
