Question

How do I cancel my monthly subscription?

Hi guys,

I subscribed to figma not because I just wanted to use Figma Make. I thought the AI worked for designs as well, just like https:sleek.design, but unfortunately for me, what is made, can’t be edited on Figma Design. How do I cancel this subscribtion. It’s been taking almost £22 from my account monthly - no matter what I do.

Many thanks.
Abe

Same proplem.

I gotta respect the hustle. Figma trying to be the “friend” of the designers, reverting to dark ux pattern to milk them their hard earned cash.

Solution: Cancel figma(if you can find the cancel button), save cash and avoid horrible feature bloath. Go with Paper: https://paper.design/ its also much better with AI

Problem solved. share with the design community!

Awful practice from a design company. Shameful, you’re a cool company and this just seems like money grabbing end game shit

Cool? seems like they are speedrunning becoming obsolete with bloath, crappy ai and boomer billing patterns. hope they fix their ways.

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing your feedback! We understand subscription management should feel straightforward, and we appreciate you flagging your experience here.

For clarity, it is possible to cancel directly within your Figma settings without needing to email support (Unless you’re unable to access billing controls, as a reminder team admins or owners can upgrade or downgrade a Professional team).

For example, you can cancel your Professional plan subscription at any time by following these steps:

  1. Using the browser or Figma desktop app, locate the Professional team in the file browser sidebar.
  2. Click  Admin.
  3. Select the  Settings tab.
  4. In the Plan section, click Cancel plan.
  5. Figma will ask you for a cancellation reason. Select the most appropriate reason and click Cancel plan.

You can also find more details to downgrade / cancel your Professional or Organization plans here:
https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360046216313-Upgrade-or-downgrade-your-plan#h_01JN1WZEQ0XHFCM49DXHGJPS7S Hope this clarifies, and thank you again for sharing your feedback!

There is no Cancel plan either on webpage or the figma App.

Hey @nickstavrou — thanks for reaching out. Appreciate you sharing the screenshot of what you’re seeing on your end. If the steps that @Celine_ outlined earlier aren’t matching up, it may be a plan or role-specific issue that our Product Support team will need to look into directly.

I'm not able to access billing details from Figma Forum, but I've opened a ticket on your behalf so the team can review the charge and help with the cancellation. Your case number is: 1884196, and they'll follow up at the email tied to your Figma account.

Please keep an eye on your inbox for next steps.

I’m writing here because it’s extremely hard to find where to cancel plugins purchased from the Community.

I was surprised because today I was charged for a subscription that I only agreed to paying one month for.

To unsubscribe, you need to click your username in the top left and select “Settings”

Then go to the Settings>Community tab and you can see the purchases under Community Purchases

Yeah this total scammy behaviour won’t have me subscribing to Figma ever again.

I guess Figma has now entered the ens***ification stage.

this is embarrassing, but they’re making tons of money so I guess they’re okay with it.

This worked for me. No doubt they’ll change it soon, but for now it’s good.

Jumping in here to say I agree unsubscribing is so complicated compared to subscribing that feels like made in purpose, not a great looks for Figma.
