The same thing is happening to me.
Hey everyone,
Thank you for reaching out to the community! This is a feature limitation on our end.
To give you some visibility, from speaking with our Product team, it’s expected that your mobile browser won’t fit the Prototype fully to the screen and is only possible when viewing Prototypes through the Mobile App.
At the moment, for a full-screen view of your prototype on mobile, we recommend using Figma App. This will make sure your frames fit your phone and also omit the url bar of your mobile browser.
Here’s a guide from our Help Center with more information on this: View prototypes on a mobile device Hope this helps!
Hi @Celine_Figma! I’m wondering if there’s been any development in this feature request? An option to auto-scale frames to fit the device width within prototype mode is very much needed (basically, exactly like it does in preview mode). Any insight would be much appreciated. Thank you!
Thank you for reaching out to the community! I noticed that you’ve already contacted our support team regarding this question.
For others experiencing a similar issue, we can confirm that the Fit Width option is currently unavailable in the prototyping viewer. (This issue has been categorized as a feature request for resolution.) As a temporary workaround, our engineering team suggests using a device frame with a width of 500px.
We’ve submitted a Voice of Customer request based on your feedback. However, please note that we cannot provide a specific timeline for when this feature might be implemented. Thank you for your understanding! 🙏
