Desktop app keeps disappearing

I’m using Figma on Windows 11. The desktop app keeps disappearing every now and then.
Kindly tell me how I can resolve this problem.

Same here. Every now and then, the app icon disappears, and I need to look for the original .exe file on my computer. Any solution?

did you get any solution? facing the same issue again and again. its very frustrating.

Hey there, sorry to hear this is happening!

Can you please try clearing your desktop app’s cache to see if it helps?

Here’s how to clear the desktop app cache on Windows:

Be sure to close/exit the Figma desktop app
Open the Start menu, and paste in this: %APPDATA%\Figma
Press enter
In the window that opens, delete the Desktop and DesktopProfile folders if they exist
Restart
Try launch the desktop app again

If this doesn’t help, please try reinstalling the desktop app:

Desktop icon always disappear after an app update. Kinda annoying, but not a big problem.
