Can't EDIT OWN FILES

I’m sorry but I don’t see why ANYONE would ever use Figma. I’ve been creating multi-media, design and content since 1994. I’ve used some bad apps in my time but Figma is by far the worst.

Surely the designers and programmers SHOULS USE THEIR OWN APP. If so Figma could never ended up such a disaster.

Anyway, why am I no longer able to edit my own files. Ive never created a team and never want to. Before the recent update everything worked, now nothing. I’ve sent a request to edit but no surprise I’m not received an email or notification.

Also, the entire login via browser is a completely unnecessary step, GET RID OF IT.

end of rant.

Matt

Hey @Matthew_Rogers, I’m sorry to hear about the frustration you’ve been experiencing. I can understand how this situation feels incredibly inconvenient, especially with the changes that have been made. Let me help clarify and work through this with you.

Could you confirm if the files you’re referring to were drafts? If so, we recently made changes to how drafts are organized. For users on Starter or Professional plans, drafts are now moved to team spaces. The sidebar view will also update depending on the team you’ve selected in the dropdown. You can read more about these updates here: Updates to how drafts work.

When you mentioned not being able to edit your files and sending a request without receiving an email or notification, it sounds like there might be a permissions issue.

Could you share the file URL with me so I can investigate further? I’ll do my best to get this resolved for you.

I know change can be frustrating, but I appreciate your feedback. We’re here to help!
