Obsidian has the functionality of navigating back/forward with hotkeys between open files. This is super useful.

Cinema 4D has a view history separate from the object/ui manipulation history
(cmd Z undo cmd Y redo, cmd+shfit+z view undo cmd+shfit+y redo).

I’m not suggesting hotkeys here, just the overall concept that navigating views especially in complex files across frames and pages would be super rad.

Getting back to where I just was is pretty annoying sometimes. I’ve even resorted to dropping comments in as placeholders for where I’m working on different things, and using the comment view as an interim solution for this.
