Question

Scrolling Bug, please help 😫

Hannah_Cunningham

For one of my frames in my portfolio, the scrolling gets stuck. In other words, I can’t smoothly scroll down the page. The other pages in the prototype scroll just fine, and are even much larger and have more content than the troublesome page. I’ve created a new frame, started from scratch, everything. I cannot figure out the issue for the life of me. Pls help!

Here’s a video of me struggling to scroll down the entire landing page, and following it you can see the other pages scroll just fine. Loom | Free Screen & Video Recording Software

Here’s the prototype itself: https://www.figma.com/proto/I97ji6Hx7ZMcDkjNEHZWiE/Hannah-Cunningham’s-Portfolio?page-id=0%3A1&node-id=104%3A6042&viewport=32%2C262%2C0.319439172744751&scaling=min-zoom

And the file itself (don’t judge my layer organization): https://www.figma.com/file/I97ji6Hx7ZMcDkjNEHZWiE/Hannah-Cunningham-s-Portfolio?node-id=104%3A6042

I’m experiencing the same problem. Not sure if it’s a bug or something I’ve done to a specific element that’s causing it to get stuck.

I ran into this issue myself just now. I noticed reloading the prototype helps but its frustrating because during user testing we can’t just tell someone to refresh if it ā€œlooksā€ like the page cannot scroll down further.

The only difference for me however is that i cannot scroll down at all past a certain point. Ironically, using a button to anchor me throughout parts of the page that i cannot scroll works. Again, reloading resolved this isn’t the first time i ran into this issue and its clearly been around long enough.
