When you are prototyping figma pushes you towards dragging the arrow rather than using the interaction details menu but dragging the arrows is a lot slower.
If the menu opened when you select the object in prototype mode then you would be able to choose between using the interaction details or dragging the arrow rather than being forced down the arrow dragging route
Does anyone else find the arrow dragging slow to use?
