I noticed that there are fonts available on fonts.google.com but not on figma.com and I don’t know how long it takes for figma to update.

Figma could use the Google fonts api which makes the update faster. I saw that some tools have already updated their packages, except in Figma where sources like Playfair, Martian Mono and Anuphan are not yet present.
