How could i detach the color and font style from a Design system library on a local file

George_Tang1

I need to build design for different project based on the same design system library, but I don’t want to change the color and fonts style on the design system coz it is shared with different projects. So how could i detach the color and font style from a Design system library on a local file, then I can change the color and font style only for specific local project while the style of the component from the design system will link to my local styles.

Much appreciate if anyone have the experience on this issue.
Thanks in advance.

Hi. You should look into swap libraries. Here’s a similar topic.

Thanks Antoine, do you know anyway we could swap every color style in bulk action?
Because I am including the design system from another file, it won’t automatically swap all color styles from the linked design system to my local file color style (they are in same name)

That’s exactly what swap libraries does. Bulk replace styles that share the same name.
