Lately, this problem Drag & Drop images from web browser - #7 by Peter44 was fixed, which finally enables users to drag images into Figmas canvas from within the browser.

Unfortunately, this is not the case for images, that are dragged from a content script that was attached via a browser extension.

PenPot and Miro load the images flawlessly.

It would be superb if Figma also would support this!
