Every time I install a new font while working on a project, I need to restart Figma on desktop. In Adobe apps, it gets updated immediately without having to close and open. Please add a feature where it’ll either automatically update instantly, or have a refresh button for fonts.
Also, with regards to UI when choosing a font, why can’t it show a preview of what the font looks like, like in every other system on the planet (microsoft, adobe etc.).
On Windows (figma desktop) if i enable a new font, Figma will not recognize it until i restart it.
Other applications like PS or AI will instantly notice the new fonts.
If this is hard to implement, at least please provide a manual action that tells Figma to rescan fonts, so i don’t have to restart every time i enable a font while working.
