Can you please release Figma Player mobile app or allow user testers to view mobile prototypes on their devices without the need to create a Figma account?
It’s so painful to watch recordings of user testing sessions where 1/4 of the screen is occupied by the web browser UI.
So the basic idea is as follows:

I’m not sure why, but based on my experience it proves very difficult to get user testers to download Figma app, create the account and carry on with testing. Sounds like a simple process, however it does create significant friction and more than 50% remote user testers don’t bother doing these extra steps.
Yes please make this happen! It is so critical to test on mobile yet mobile browser takes up to much screen space, especially for users with smaller phones.
This is so difficult when trying to test apps with users as the app nav in the prototype lives on top of the mobile browser confusing the experience.
It is also a huge ask to expect participants to download an app and sign up to Figma rather than just view a prototype link but the browser experience isnt satisfactory and has so many more bugs for more complex prototypes reducing the accuracy of tests.
Yes, this function would be so helpful for app user testing. Forcing users to create an account before testing makes it complicated and leads to problems.
That’s why we are currently testing prototypes of our app in the browser, which drastically reduces the user experience.
Please allow to open prototypes links in the Figma app, even without an account. 🙏
