Unable to selected 'Ready for Dev' so I can copy the link and share the designs

When I am in Dev Mode, it gives me this option

and when I am in design mode, it gives me this

There is no way of selecting ‘Copy Link’ to share the designs.

Please help as this was working ok recently, but suddenly changed.

Hi @Joseph_Marafioti, Thanks for reaching out about this and I appreciate you sharing those screenshots. It helps a lot!

After trying it out on my side, I see that “Copy dev link” is not available when I clicked “Ready for dev…” in both the browser version and the desktop app as you mentioned.

Would you mind trying the following steps to see if you can copy the dev link?

  1. Select a frame on the canvas (if you want the link to directly lead people to the selected frame)
  2. Enter Dev mode
  3. Click “Share” button on the top right
  4. Click on the “Copy dev link” at the top right of the modal.

Thanks Junko3, those steps worked out for me. The process must have been changed as you used to copy a dev link directly on the frame/section in this canvas.

Annoying to have a method change without any guidance. You would think an application designed for UX designers would use best practices to guide users when you change what they are used to.
