Section Labels break when zoomed out far


since I’m not able to make posts in FigJam for whatever reason, here’s an idea that might be a bug report. I really like sections, but when I zoom way out their labels seem to scale up to be readable but too far, and seem to cross over into the broken domain eventually popping into their section container space, instead of being anchored to the top of them. Can’t imagine this is intended functionality, they should just max out font size eventually and stop being readable at a far distance, like everything else. That’s fine…

After looking into this for a while internally, we’re not able to replicate the issue (and have not received additional reports), so it’s been difficult to isolate – unfortunately, we have no further info on this end.

@allanmacdonald.contact can you share a screen recording of what you’re seeing?

On my end, zooming out too far from a section in FigJam eventually just hides the name – it doesn’t break into the container space.

I may have misunderstood you, though – but also while I’m here: is this a thing you see across both Figma on the web and in the desktop app?


I recorded a video, I’ll try and upload it elsewhere since I’m not allowed to here as a new user.
