When opening a new tab there should be a search bar where I can type in a filename and quickly jump to it. This mimics a web browser where I open a new tab and immediately start typing to go to a particular website or make a google search.
Right now the assumption is when I open a new tab I only want to create something new, this is not always the case, I typically want to open an existing file.
