I now see the figma logo in my Mac’s menu bar. I really don’t want this, there’s enough clutter up there and I just don’t have space for it, or the need for it. I can’t see a way to remove it. It’s even worse if you’re using the Figma Beta app.

Please tell me this is possible.

I’m sorry but in the docs it says

On Mac: Navigate to Figma > Preferences and deselect Show Figma in the Menu Bar

But there’s not such an item anywhere… Where exactly should it be? Thank you.

Right click (command click) on the menu bar icon. You can then remove it. This should be a setting visible with other settings and not hidden in menu bar status widget.
