Have been searching for solutions to this but cannot find any. Since moving to a newer Macbook Air 13.6 inch, fit width no longer actually fits width, nor does fill screen or fit to screen.

I have a black border all around the prototype regardless of which setting I use for this.

Any solutions or has anyone else had this issue?

Using Chrome, using the web version of Figma, only change has been that my laptop has a newer screen size than before.

Thanks

Hey there,

Thank you for your post. Just to clarify, are you not selecting any device? The “Fit width” option is only available if you are using a custom frame size without selecting a device. You can find more information here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040318013-Play-your-prototypes#h_01HER6XXFTAK565E14WGYEM4T4

If this issue persists, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.

Please make sure you use the email associated with your Figma account, include links to the file in question, and share access with support-share@figma.com. Don’t worry, inviting us to view your file won’t impact your billing.

Thanks!

I have this issue also. It’s very annoying.

I cannot adjust the size of the frame or group for anything. On Windows, I can adjust with a drag of the mouse on the selection box OR adjusting with the W on the Design panel.

However, on a Mac if I use the selection box it does nothing and if I use W on the Design panel, my cursor locks up with a double arrow cursor that stays on the screen.

Could you share a screen recording so we can understand what’s happening on your Mac environment? I can’t reproduce the behavior on my end.

Thanks,

Toku
