Hi, we have a main library. I want to use the library for different projects. In every projects some of the components are different than in the main library. For example the main color changed from “main library blue” to “Project 1 main color green”. How can i do this without loosing the connection from “Project 1” to the to the main library

Hey Toni! You should be able to overwrite things like color, auto layout settings, and a lot more on instances of the components from your main library. This means you can re-style them without losing connection to the library. I suggest checking out Figma’s documentation about what you can and can’t override on instances to make sure all the customization you intend to do is possible.

There are some tricks to making instances “editable” in some aspects, like using the placeholder method.
